Our company is looking for a Procurement Officer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining accurate records of purchases and pricing and other important related data;
  • Preparing purchase orders, liaising with finance to verify payments;
  • Manage evaluations;
  • Providing support with purchasing process and activities locally;
  • building and maintaining positive work relationships with all internal and external partners, suppliers and related personnel;
  • Ensure value for money outcomes;
  • Ensure accuracy of orders, invoices, requisitions and inventories;
  • All applicants must attach a response to the two targeted questions and your CV (no more than 5 pages);
  • Audits conducted as required, correctly and accurately;
  • Participate in risk assessment;
  • Manage end-to-end procurement processes;
  • A Recruitment Pool may be created for future vacancies at the same/equivalent salary level;
  • Conduct market and risk assessment;
  • maintaining an accurate and updated purchasing and suppliers’ registers;
  • Supporting sourcing activities across several key indirect categories.

Requirements:

  • Strong ERP system exposure;
  • Sourcing, tendering and contract administration exposure;
  • Advanced Excel skills;
  • Flexible communication and problem-solving skills;
  • Hands on, can do attitude;
  • Ability to effectively prioritise tasks in a fast paced environment;
  • Experience executing end-to-end procurement activities concerning with indirect commodities;
  • Strong commercial and general analytics skills;
  • Previous experience within a FMCG environment;
  • Ability to effectively manage a range of internal and external stakeholder relationships.
