Conduct retail activities of businesses operating exclusively online. May perform duties such as preparing business strategies, buying merchandise, managing inventory, implementing marketing activities, fulfilling and shipping online orders, and balancing financial records.

Our company is looking for a Marketing Specialist to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Working with external agencies briefing in projects when required;
  • Work with the Marketing Manager to develop and implement brand strategies;
  • Supervise junior staff and train local sales representatives;
  • Oversee management of Client Relationship Management system;
  • Working closely with the sales team ensuring customers have up to date product information and assets;
  • Prepare regular marketing reports for senior executives for the purpose of decision-making;
  • With leadership guidance and approval, develop final internal and external materials including action emails and recaps;
  • Liaise with the Regional/Global marketing team as required to ensure activity in Australia is aligned with the global strategy and marketing plans;
  • Implementing the business plan as determined by the company;
  • Overseeing and drafting (where appropriate) company award entries, maintaining a yearly award calendar and ensuring entries are submitted on time;
  • Formulate marketing objectives, strategies and proposals with senior executive, and assist in their implementation;
  • Research and present new market opportunities where;
  • Creative, diplomatic, and calm under pressure with great interpersonal skills;
  • Assist the marketing team with the development and maintenance of marketing assets as required/appropriate such as blog content, media releases, eDMs;
  • Identify and secure speaker opportunities for executive management team.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks;
  • High-level Microsoft Office proficiency;
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal;
  • Strong commitment to continuous improvement;
  • Over 3 years’ experience in a marketing role;
  • A team player, always keen to assist where possible;
  • Motivated, driven and enthusiastic attitude;
  • Data-driven, using data to understand what’s working, what’s not and what to do next;
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or equivalent;
  • Intermediate level Adobe Suite proficiency preferred but not essential;
  • Highly organised, quick learner, proactive, persistent, accurate and with a positive attitude;
  • Experience in a retail and/or trade marketing environment preferred but not essential;
  • Experience in communications;
  • Ability to write code (HTML, CSS, SQL, Python);
  • Create marketing videos.
