Our company is looking for a Finance Business Partner to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Build positive relationships with key stakeholders to build financial literacy, promote finance business practice;
  • Assist to enhance the quality of financial decisions for institute units;
  • Manage product pricing in collaboration with Finance, Sales and other stakeholders as required;
  • Preparing monthly reports and identifying and presenting on underlying trends;
  • Providing detailed commentary across financial results and presenting to the executive board;
  • Compilation of divisional budgets and associated quarterly reviews and forecasts;
  • Drive business improvement and transformation by working closely with stakeholders in the identification and monitoring of new opportunities;
  • Work alongside HODs on projects providing recommendations in regards to feasibility, costing & profitability of projects;
  • Assist Regional Director and relevant stakeholders with financial support in relation to business case development;
  • Ad hoc projects and reporting as required;
  • Month-end and year-end analysis and reporting;
  • Preparation of monthly and annual board and management reports;
  • Support the preparation of business cases with financial modelling; and;
  • Provision of forward-looking commercial insights;
  • Development of management reports.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Management reporting Review and ensure integrity and accuracy of monthly Portfolio Management Review reports;
  • Budgets, quarterly reforecasts and 3-year plan;
  • Exposure to Commercial business environments;
  • Management reports for senior members of the business;
  • High technical and analytical ability;
  • High levels of financial analysis with the ability to perform intricate variance analysis;
  • Budgets and forecasts with large volumes of data;
  • Strong business partnering skills with the ability to build strong working relationships;
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and defining business requirements;
  • Relevant FP&A experience within the online publisher business highly regarded;
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related;
  • Proficiency in English, written and spoken;
  • Member of Chartered Accountants of Australia and/or Certified Practising Accountants of Australia (CPA);
  • Ability to balance tight timelines.
