Our company is looking for a Finance Analyst to join our team.


  • Managing intercompany transactions including preparing PO/invoice template and transactions schedule with intercompany/related entities;
  • Ad-hoc variance analysis and investigation as required (Actuals vs. Budget / Forecasts);
  • Delivering monthly P&L reporting with detailed commentary to a broad range of internal stakeholders;
  • Commercial insights and deep dive analysis into product category;
  • Specific review of approved standard or bespoke proposals and contract P&Ls, commercial risk summaries;
  • Generate Continuous improvement projects across both Quality & Operations;
  • Analysing marketing spend and assisting with month end activities;
  • Develop and document a robust data governance framework, advising around data quality and integrity;
  • Maintain the P&L reporting and performance analysis for portfolios;
  • Performing balance sheet reconciliations and action open items in timely manner;
  • Data gathering for ad-hoc analytical requests;
  • Continually review and influence marketing and sales personnel for adoption and fine-tuning of new commercial techniques and processes;
  • Preparing analysis of Store Wage expenses (Actual vs. Productivity Reporting, Budget etc.);
  • Driving process improvement in financial and operational reporting across the business;
  • Assist with Financial Planning by preparation of the Business Unit’s strategic plan, annual budget and projection process.


  • Tertiary qualification in accounting or finance discipline;
  • Friendly, approachable and have good relationship management skills;

  • In the process of obtaining CA/CPA qualification;
  • Professional Accounting (CPA/CA), MBA, or equivalent Finance qualification;
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy of all outputs;
  • Sound computer skills with advanced MS office and excel skills;
  • Excellent communicator (written and oral) with well-developed influencing skills;
  • Minimum two years experience in a similar role;
  • 5+ years’ experience in the management accounting / business analyst arena;
  • Demonstrable experience in working with and influencing multiple stakeholders within a matrix organisational structure;
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines;
  • Relevant degree in Accounting/Commerce or a related discipline;
  • Experience operating and delivering results in a matrix environment and leveraging relationships to influence and drive outcomes;
  • Proven analytical, data interrogation and critical thinking skills.
