Our company is looking for a Company Accountant to join our team.


  • Payment claims and queries from internal stakeholders;
  • Completion of compliance and review of payroll;
  • Assist with budgets and forecasts and providing variance analysis;
  • Ad hoc tasks;
  • Assist with Accounts payable & accounts receivable duties;
  • Preparation of month accounts;
  • Preparing financial reports for the Australian and New Zealand businesses;
  • Cashflow reporting;
  • Statutory reporting including, tax returns preparations, BAS, GST and FBT;
  • Managing month end reporting including, balance sheet reconciliations, general ledger reconciliations and journal entries;
  • This role consists of predominantly financial accounting responsibilities, along with some management accounting duties;
  • Supervising the Accounts Payable team;
  • Month end processes;
  • General Ledger and balance sheet reconciliations;
  • KPI analysis.


  • Strong technical accounting background with budget and reporting experience;
  • Experience motivating, coaching and leading a team to achieve results within agreed timelines;
  • Advanced Excel skills;
  • Knowledge of payroll management and software packages (preferably MYOB, Xero, HR3);
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with executives, managers and employees;
  • A CPA/CA certification will be highly regarded;
  • Strong understanding of financial governance;
  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting and/or Finance with 5 – 8 years’ experience in a similar senior finance role.
