Our company is looking for a Product Designer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Explore and communicate concepts through artefacts such as storyboards, personas, customer journeys and user flows;
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of Pattern Libraries, Design Systems and other assets;
  • Delivering thoughtful customer journeys, mockups, prototypes and research artefacts to plan your approach and support your hypothesis;
  • Craft system level design elements such as iconography, typography, colour, UI components and templates;
  • Contributing to the spirit of entrepreneurialism within SiteMinder and demonstrating ownership of your work;
  • Organising and conducting qualitative and quantitative customer testing sessions, and synthesising feedback;
  • Planning and facilitating tasks across the product design process, such as research, discovery, ideation and user testing;
  • Working with the design team, product managers and engineers to define and deliver a new generation of products for SiteMinder;
  • Balance customer, product and business needs;
  • Create sketches, wireframes, prototypes and high definition designs for user interfaces;
  • Work collaboratively with other Designers, Product Managers, Engineers, QA, Sales and Marketing to help deliver exceptional experiences.

Requirements:

  • 3 or more years industry experience in UI, UX, Product Design or related role;
  • Ability to produce motion graphics using After Effects;
  • Strong online portfolio that demonstrates your process and ability to turn ideas into a convincing and unique creative vision;
  • Nice to have experience: Working with teams within a SaaS company;
  • Bonus: Coding skills and/or Motion skills;
  • Ability to multitask on several short and long-term projects;
  • Excellent presentation skills and communication abilities at all levels of both internal and client organisations;
  • 2-5 years design experience (experience on Mobile Applications would be an added bonus);
  • Good general understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript;
  • A portfolio of work that showcases ‘best in class’ user experiences and interfaces;
  • Clear and precise verbal and written communication skills;
  • Experience using the standard tools of the design trade, e.g. Sketch, Zeplin, Photoshop, Illustrator;
  • Strong experience in discovery, research, testing and documenting your work;
  • Possess a deep understanding of user-centred design, interaction design and information architecture;
  • Proficient with design tools such as Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe XD, Invision etc.
