Our company is looking for a Production Worker to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Forklift operation (loading & unloading pallets of ingredients) and to assist with task rotation;
- Assisting in milling process of ingredients;
- Cleaning and maintenance of your workspace;
- Working to strict deadlines and O,H& S standards;
- Quality Checking of products with a keen eye for quality;
- Stripping, cutting and flossing roses;
- Packing and unpacking of products;
- Quality checking of products;
- Wiring flowers for specialized designs;
- Placing bulk stock into water;
- Wrapping mixed and single floral arrangements;
- Preparing and packing high volume of products at a fast pace;
- Safe operation of industrial equipment;
- Dispatch positions available – Processing finished products;
- General house keeping duties.
Requirements:
- Attention to detail, and a high level of organisational skills;
- Forklift license;
- Glass cutting;
- Team player who can take directions;
- Written English and numeracy skills;
- HR driving license;
- Despatch duties (weighing & cubing, strapping, packing etc);
- Ability to multi task and prioritize duties;
- Must have Flu Vaccination prior to beginning employment;
- Must be able to pass a national police check;
- Ability to multi task and prioritise duties;
- Able to operate a computer;
- Prior manufacturing/production experience favourable;
- Must not have Egg Allergies;
- Previous work history in a similar environment.
