The position is full time, Monday to Friday.
The practice is a well-established healthcare provider in Brighton, TAS. The surgery is committed to providing comprehensive and compassionate medical care to patients of all ages. The team of experienced doctors, nurses, and support staff work together to offer a patient-centred approach, ensuring individuals feel heard and understood.
Job description
Providing skilled health assessment, diagnosis and treatment services to patients.
Ordering diagnostic tests, and follow-up with patients regarding results.
Referring patients appropriately to other providers as required for optimal health outcomes
Qualifications
Essential - recognised medical degree
Desirable - post graduate general practice/primary healthcare qualifications
Current or eligible for AHPRA registration suitable for the position
Skills/experience
At least 3-5 years post graduate general medical practice experience in Australia or similar health care setting
Able to assess symptoms and physical signs, to establish a diagnosis when possible, and to exercise sound clinical judgement in further management
