Senior Medical Registrar - Hospitals in the Home (HiTH) North Service

• Located on the Tamar River in the north of Tasmania, this city has approximately 71,788 residents. This general hospital is a 308 bed facility providing emergency and acute care, specialist services, inpatient and ambulatory care to the city and surrounding district
• HiTH’s sole purpose is to provide exceptional hospital level health care and ongoing support to the residents of Northern Tasmania to negate the need for hospitalisation in our mainstream facility and enable patients to remain in their own home and community under the watchful/vigilant eye of a dedicated health team. The Senior Medical Registrar will be responsible for working under the direction and supervision of the Medical Specialist to provide medical treatment and care to patients admitted to HiTH, day to day management of private and public patients and participate in patient reviews when clinically appropriate.
• $1500 per day worked Monday to Friday. Weekend on call- $140 flat daily rate for being on call and $150 per hour for hours worked on call. (1:4 On Call, maximum $1500 per day) **Any partial days worked will be paid at $150ph
