    Role Description

    This is a full-time hybrid role for a Paediatric Occupational Therapist based in Karawatha, QLD, with the flexibility to work partially from home. The role involves conducting assessments, developing and implementing therapy plans, working directly with children and their families, and partnering with educators to address developmental, sensory, and functional challenges. The Paediatric Occupational Therapist will also collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, maintain accurate records, and support children in achieving their goals.

    Qualifications

    • Strong skills in assessment, therapy planning, and implementation tailored to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Developmental Delays, and Sensory Processing challenges
    • Experience working with families and educators to build collaborative support practices
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in engaging with children and diverse stakeholders
    • Ability to work both independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
    • Organizational skills for maintaining detailed and accurate client records
    • Relevant certifications or qualifications in Occupational Therapy
    • Registration with the appropriate professional body (e.g., AHPRA), and eligibility to work with children in Queensland
    • A passion for paediatric therapy and a commitment to fostering positive outcomes for children and their families
    • Experience with telehealth practices and working in hybrid environments is advantageous
