Therapeutic Carer roles across North and South Perth Metro
Looking for a role where you can make a real difference in the lives of children and young people?
We’re looking for Casual and Part-Time Therapeutic Carers to join Our Way Home team, providing 24-hour support and care to children and young people across North and South Perth Metro.
With care provided around the clock across a range of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends and overnight support. Weekend availability is essential!
About the Role
As a Therapeutic Carer, you’ll play an important role in creating a safe, stable and supportive environment for children and young people.
You’ll build positive relationships, provide day-to-day support and help young people feel safe, heard and connected. You’ll work alongside an experienced care team to put individual support plans into action and support each young person’s unique needs, goals and development.
As part of a 24-hour care environment , you’ll work across a roster that supports children and young people throughout the day and night. It is a requirement be available to work on weekends.
No two days will be exactly the same. You could be supporting everyday routines, helping build life skills, encouraging positive connections, participating in activities or simply being there when a young person needs someone in their corner.

We’re looking for people who are:
- Caring, compassionate and genuinely motivated to make a difference
- Reliable, patient and able to provide consistent support
- Willing to learn and develop their skills
- Comfortable working as part of a team
- Able to build positive, respectful relationships with children and young people
- Able to remain calm and emotionally regulated in challenging situations
Experience in youth work, community services, disability, education, residential care or similar environments is highly regarded. A willingness to learn and the right values are what matter most.
