Site Manager

A well-established and growing residential volume builder is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the delivery of multiple new home builds across Melbourne's eastern suburbs.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-resourced builder with a strong pipeline of work, established systems and a focus on delivering quality homes efficiently and consistently.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage residential builds from site start through to completion and handover
• Coordinate and manage multiple trades and subcontractors throughout the build process
• Maintain strong site productivity and drive projects forward to meet key milestones
• Coordinate trades, materials and site activities to minimise delays and downtime
• Conduct regular site meetings, inspections and progress reporting
• Maintain site safety, toolbox talks and OH&S compliance
• Identify and resolve construction issues quickly and effectively
• Work closely with Construction Managers, Supervisors, suppliers and internal teams
• Ensure homes are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standard

Skills & Experience

• Trade qualified, with Carpentry highly regarded
• Proven experience as a Site Manager, Site Supervisor or Senior Supervisor within residential construction
• Experience delivering high-volume residential projects for a volume or production builder
• Strong understanding of residential construction processes, sequencing and building standards
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain build momentum
• Strong trade and subcontractor management skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Strong understanding of OH&S and residential construction compliance
