Medical Receptionist – Bookings Team

We’re seeking a confident and detail‑focused Medical Receptionist to join our bookings team at The Wesley Hospital. This role plays a key part in coordinating patient bookings and supporting clinical teams within a busy hospital environment.
You’ll be responsible for managing patient bookings, coordinating schedules, and acting as a key point of contact between patients and clinical teams.
About the role
- Manage a high volume of patient bookings over the phone
- Be the primary contact for incoming booking enquiries
- Provide clear information to patients regarding appointments and preparation
- Liaise closely with Radiologists, Nursing staff, and clinical teams
- Ensure booking details and patient information are accurate
- Support administrative workflows within a structured bookings environment
Working pattern
- Monday to Friday between 6:30am-9pm
- 10‑ hour shifts , with one rostered day off per week
- Optional weekend work available once fully trained
About you
- Previous experience in a phone‑based bookings, contact centre, or medical administration role
- Confident and professional phone manner
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, process‑driven environment
