About
Our client is a well-established global provider of high-pressure portable air solutions, supporting the mining, drilling and oil & gas industries. With more than 50 years of industry experience, they design and deliver innovative compressor and booster systems built to perform in some of the worlds harshest operating environments. Due to continued growth and upcoming projects, they are seeking experienced Heavy Duty Fitters.
As the Heavy Duty Fitter , you will:
- Run up and commission compressors in accordance with operational procedures and OEM specifications
- Conduct preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs, diagnostics and fault-finding on compressors and associated equipment
- Identify required maintenance works, repairs and spare parts to ensure equipment reliability and performance
- Complete work orders and maintain accurate service records, reports and documentation
- Work safely and effectively both independently and within a team environment across workshop, field service and shutdown environments
Requirements
- Relevant Australian-recognised trade certificate
- Valid Australian drivers licence
- Compressor or Volvo engine experience (preferred)
- Oil & gas or mining/drill maintenance experience (preferred)
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work autonomously
- National Police Clearance (NPC) issued within the past 6 months
