Junior Accountant and Administrator

KP Financial Pty Ltd (KP Financial) is a boutique Financial Services organisation providing personalised care to its clients. Established in 2000, it is a well-established business with a loyal client case and prides itself in offering client’s excellence service and advice.

Purpose of the Position

The role of Junior Accountant is an important role for KP Financial as it is responsible for ensuring the office functions smoothly, providing administrative support to the entire office and the provision of accounting services. This role is the first point of contact for clients and others who contact the organisation.

This is an ideal role for a first- or second-year university student who is looking for a steppingstone into accountancy.

About the role:

• Greeting clients and helping create a professional office environment
• Answering phone calls and responding to email enquiries
• Assisting with maintaining accurate client records
• Supporting with data entry and reconciliations
• Assisting with preparation of documents for clients and auditors
• Helping with electronic filing and organisation of records
• Supporting individual tax return and BAS administration
• General office administration

About you :

• Currently studying Accounting (or similar degree)
• First or Second year of university (or similar)
• Experienced in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite of Products
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly professional work standards and ethics
• Proven ability to work in a flexible, multi- tasking environment
