Data Analyst (baseline/NV1)

Join our dynamic team at Green Light as a Data Analyst, we're seeking a seasoned professional with strong technical business analysis and data migration experience. As a Data Analyst, you'll play a key role in analysing legacy systems, defining source-to-target mappings, validating migration outcomes, and ensuring data is successfully migrated into modern cloud platforms while empowering stakeholders with accurate and trusted data.

This role does require an active AGSVA baseline or NV1 clearance at a minimum. Consultants that do not hold this minimum requirement will not be considered.

The role:

• Technically advanced SSIS Developer / Data Analyst with deep experience and knowledge in SQL Server and ETL development
• Passion and track record of designing and delivering data migration and integration solutions across enterprise environments
• Provide advice on improving and establishing best practice data integration, ETL frameworks, and SQL development standards
• Establishing frameworks, templates, business processes, runbooks, and ETL design patterns
• Expertise/SME of SQL Server (latest versions including 2025), SSIS, and relational database architectures
• Experienced in managing data migration activities across multiple data sources (flat files, XML, Excel, relational databases)
• Performance tuning and optimisation of SSIS packages, SQL queries, stored procedures, and database performance
• Implement and manage error handling, logging, and debugging mechanisms within SSIS solutions
• Maintain, update, and create data integration processes, standards, and operational procedures
• Adhere to IT Security architectural principles and data governance frameworks
• Fully utilise your knowledge of SSIS and SQL Server capabilities to optimise data extraction, transformation, and loading processes within the data platform

Required:

• Broad and extensive experience with SQL Server development and SSIS-based data integration solutions
• Strong experience with data migrations, ETL design, and data transformation across complex environments
• Expertise in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions
• Experience working with multiple data sources including flat files, XML, Excel, and relational databases
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server architecture and performance tuning techniques
• Experience with SSIS package design, deployment, troubleshooting, and optimisation
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and experience working with client stakeholders and business teams
