Key Responsibilities

• Maintaining client engagement including client relationships
• Consulting to various divisions of the practice regarding taxation issues
• Provision of general tax advice
• Preparation of Private Binding Rulings
• Preparation of Tax Effect Accounting Calculations and Consolidated Income Tax Returns
• International Tax (tax advice regarding expansion offshore, Controlled Foreign Company regime etc.)
• M&A transactions / restructures
• Building client relationships
• Assisting in delivery of technical training to the tax division/other divisions in the practice (as appropriate)
• Involvement on various professional body committees as appropriate (e.g. The Tax Institute)

Skills and Experience

• Bachelor degree in Accounting or similar discipline
• Completed or working toward a CA/CPA, CTA, or MTax
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Prior experience within a big four or mid-tier tax division is desirable
