ABOUT THE ROLE



 
We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support the delivery of a large-scale civil infrastructure project involving bulk earthworks, utilities, roads, drainage and associated subdivision works.



 
Working closely with the Project Manager and site delivery team, you will play a key role in coordinating subcontractors, managing project documentation, tracking programme and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with project requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate day-to-day project delivery activities across multiple work fronts
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers and consultant interfaces
• Prepare and manage RFIs, NCRs, ITPs, SWMS reviews and project documentation
• Monitor programme, productivity and project milestones
• Assist with procurement, scope packages and subcontractor management
• Track project costs, variations and progress claims
• Support quality assurance and compliance activities across site
• Liaise with client representatives and key project stakeholders
• Prepare regular project reporting and progress updates
• Drive efficient project outcomes through proactive problem solving and coordination

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Experience as a Project Engineer within civil infrastructure, subdivisions or earthworks projects
• Strong understanding of bulk earthworks, roads, drainage and utility installation
• Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders in a live construction environment
• Experience managing subcontractors and project documentation
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Proficient with project management and reporting systems such as Procore, Laminar or similar
• Relevant Civil Engineering qualification
