Position: Visual Designer

Type: Contract

Compensation: $50–$80/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10–20 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Write, review, and validate prompt-based questions to train AI in visual design .
• Shape how AI understands and simulates multi-modal design workflows in graphic design and UI work .
• Ensure each prompt and response reflects real-world design processes.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving AI model performance .
• Collaborate with AI research teams to enhance training data quality and model outputs.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• 1+ years of experience in graphic or UI design .
• Bachelor's degree in design or a related field.
• Based in the U.S. , Canada , New Zealand , UK , or Australia .
• Strong background in creating high-quality visual designs with unique aesthetics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Exposure to LLMs and GenAI prompting .

Start Date

• Early to mid August ; applications reviewed on a rolling basis.

Interview Process

• Take an AI interview focused on creative workflows and systemic design thinking.
• Share your screen to walk through a design showcasing your fundamentals and aesthetic.
• Share your portfolio post-interview.
• Selection based on AI interview performance and portfolio quality.
