About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Advisor – Tenements to join Iluka’s Perth‑based Resource Development team.

This role is responsible for ensuring Iluka’s Australian tenements remain in good standing through the accurate and timely preparation and lodgement of statutory, technical and expenditure reports across multiple jurisdictions. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance, accurate cost allocation and the ongoing security of tenure.

The position also supports land access and stakeholder engagement activities, including engagement with landowners, regulators and internal operational teams, contributing to risk reduction and value creation across Iluka’s land and tenure portfolio.

Key role responsibilities include: 

  • Preparation and lodgement of all annual statutory tenement reports, including technical, expenditure, environmental compliance, relinquishment and rehabilitation reports
  • Preparing and submitting expenditure reports (including Form 5s) across multiple Australian jurisdictions
  • Ensuring accurate allocation and capture of tenement‑related costs
  • Managing reporting timelines and compliance through relevant state reporting portals
  • Supporting land access activities, including engagement and negotiation with landowners as required by the business
  • Provide support to the Exploration and Geology teams to facilitate on ground programs
  • Providing stakeholder and regulator engagement support across operations and exploration
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of tenement and cost allocation processes
  • Supporting key projects and broader land and tenure initiatives as required

About You

  • Tertiary qualification in Geology or a related discipline
  • Previous experience in Exploration or Mining
  • Experience in tenement management, statutory reporting and expenditure reporting
  • Understanding of Australian tenement regulatory requirements across multiple states
  • Demonstrated experience preparing and lodging statutory and expenditure reports
  • Experience engaging with internal and external stakeholders
  • GIS or spatial program skills highly desirable
