We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Assistant Store Manager to support a busy South Wharf outlet location. This is an exciting opportunity for a confident retail leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, loves developing teams, and knows how to drive results while delivering exceptional customer experiences.

About the Role

This is a full-time leadership opportunity, working 38 hours per week within a high-profile outlet store. Partnering closely with the Store Manager, you will play a key role in leading daily operations, supporting team performance, and creating a positive and inclusive store culture.

You'll be joining a well-established business with a strong presence across Australia and genuine career progression opportunities.

In this role, you will:

• Support the delivery of positive, inclusive and engaging customer experiences

• Assist with coaching, training and developing a large retail team

• Help drive store budgets, KPIs and overall performance

• Support visual merchandising execution and in-store presentation

• Assist with high-volume stock processing and deliveries

• Lead the team confidently in the Store Manager's absence

• Work collaboratively with the wider leadership team to ensure operational excellence

Team Structure

• 1 x Store Manager

• 1 x Assistant Store Manager

• 20+ Sales Assistants

• 1 x Stock Assistant

What We're Looking For

We are seeking a strong retail leader with proven experience in fast-paced, high-volume environments.

You will have:

• Previous experience as an Assistant Store Manager, or a Store Manager ready for a larger-format business

• Strong leadership capability and confidence leading from the front

• The ability to take initiative and hit the ground running

• Experience coaching teams, driving sales and managing performance conversations

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• A hands-on and resilient leadership style

This role is best suited to someone with solid retail management experience who is ready to step into a flagship-style environment.
