Civil Supervisor – Roads & Utilities Location: Sydney, NSW

Employment Type: Short-Term Contract

We are currently seeking an experienced Civil Supervisor to join a leading civil contractor delivering road and utilities infrastructure projects across Sydney. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader to oversee site operations and ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day site activities across road and utilities construction projects.
• Coordinate subcontractors, plant, labour, and materials to achieve programme milestones.
• Ensure works are completed in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Conduct pre-starts, toolbox talks, and daily site inspections.
• Monitor site productivity and resolve construction issues as they arise.
• Liaise with Project Engineers, clients, utility authorities, and subcontractors to maintain project progress.
• Maintain site documentation, including daily diaries, permits, QA records, and safety documentation.

About You

• Proven experience as a Civil Supervisor on road and utilities infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of road construction, drainage, water, sewer, and underground services.
• Experience supervising subcontractors and direct labour in a live construction environment.
• Sound knowledge of WHS legislation and quality requirements.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Relevant civil construction qualifications and tickets (White Card essential).
