Power Platform Developer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Power Platform Developer to join a high-profile digital transformation program delivering modern business applications and digital solutions using Microsoft technologies.

Working within an Agile delivery team, you will be responsible for developing, configuring, testing, and supporting solutions across the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem. The role will involve creating user-focused applications, automating business processes, and delivering data-driven insights through Power BI.

12-month daily rate contract, hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and configure solutions using Microsoft Power Platform technologies, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, and Power BI.
• Build and enhance Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven Apps) to support business requirements.
• Develop Power Automate workflows to streamline and automate business processes.
• Create and maintain Power Pages solutions to support customer and stakeholder engagement.
• Design and develop Power BI reports and dashboards to provide meaningful business insights.
• Apply UX/UI design principles to deliver intuitive and user-friendly application experiences.
• Implement business logic, integrations, and reusable solution components following established best practices.
• Conduct unit testing and support defect resolution activities.
• Participate in solution deployments, enhancements, and ongoing application support.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, architects, and project teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Ensure compliance with governance, security, and SDLC standards.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience developing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
  • Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven Apps)
  • Power Automate
  • Power Pages
  • Power BI
• Understanding of UX/UI principles and experience designing user-friendly applications.
• Experience implementing business logic and system integrations.
• Strong troubleshooting, testing, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience supporting deployments and production releases.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
• Experience working with Azure DevOps or similar tools for work tracking and deployment activities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
