Diesel Mechanic

Our client is a family business in the transport refrigeration/trailer repairs industry located in Clayton.

They are looking for a Trailer Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic or even an Auto Mechanic looking for change to join their expanding team in Clayton. 

You will be working within the team as well as autonomously to repair our customer’s trailers and equipment.

Role Responsibilities: 

• Undertake day to day trailer repair and maintenance 
• General workshop duties
• Respond to, investigate, and repair vehicle defects as notified by drivers 
• Fast paced position, with having trailers serviced and repaired by the deadline
• Company vehicle and fuel card for work purpose only to the right candidate 
• Breakdown/on call, along with onsite at trailer park services 

Skills and Experience
To be eligible for this role, applicants must have:

• Trade qualification as a Mechanic or equivalent or relevant experience
• Willingness to work
• Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as with a team
• Drivers Licence
