Merriwa Industries is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Casual Garden Maintenance & Landscaping Operators to join our growing Garden Maintenance team.

About the Role

As a Casual Garden Maintenance Operator, you'll help maintain and enhance outdoor spaces by undertaking a variety of horticultural and grounds maintenance tasks, including:

  • Lawn mowing, edging and whipper snipping
  • Pruning, weeding, digging holes and planting
  • Mulching, watering and garden bed preparation
  • Preparing soil for turf installation and installing watering systems
  • Leaf blowing and green waste removal
  • Operating and maintaining gardening equipment safely
  • Delivering high-quality work and excellent customer service

We're looking for people who:

  • Have experience in garden maintenance, landscaping, horticulture or grounds maintenance OR demonstrate the right attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Can commit to casual employment with consistent full-time hours.
  • Enjoy working outdoors in a physically active role.
  • Work well as part of a team and can follow instructions.
  • Have a strong commitment to workplace safety and quality.
  • Hold a current driver's licence (preferred/required for driving company vehicles).
  • Can successfully complete the required pre-employment screening, including a Police Check, Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check and White Card.
