About the Role
We're seeking an experienced  Senior Data Analyst to join a Federal Government team in Canberra. You'll transform complex data into meaningful insights that support strategic decision-making while working closely with business stakeholders across a range of projects.



 
Key Responsibilities

• Gather, cleanse and validate data from multiple sources.
• Analyse large datasets to identify trends, patterns and business opportunities.
• Develop reports, dashboards and data visualisations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into analytical solutions.
• Ensure data accuracy, quality and integrity across all reporting.
• Automate recurring reports and improve data processes where possible.
• Plan, organise and manage analytical projects, including research, analysis, presentations and supporting working groups.

Key Requirements

• Current NV1 Security Clearance (mandatory).
• Demonstrated experience in  Business Situation Analysis , including analysing complex business problems, identifying root causes and engaging with stakeholders.
• Experience in  Data Modelling & Design , including developing, maintaining and optimising data structures to support reporting and analytics.
• Strong  Data Visualisation skills, with experience creating dashboards and reports using Power
