Prospero Teaching is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher for a short-term role at a well-regarded secondary college in Heidelberg, Melbourne. This full-time position and offers an opportunity to make a real impact teaching English to Years 7–12 .

Prospero Teaching are representing an English teaching role in a secondary school in Melbourne. 

With approximately 1,500 students on a 5-hectare campus , the College provides excellent educational opportunities for families in Heidelberg and surrounding suburbs. It combines academic focus with high participation in Sport, Music, and the Visual & Performing Arts, underpinned by a strong ethos of hard work, respect, and inclusion as a Respectful Relationships School.
Students can engage in leadership programs, houses, social and emotional pathways, sporting teams, productions, debating, public speaking, music, and the Social Action group. The curriculum follows a standard academic program, with VET subjects offered off-campus.
Facilities include modern classrooms and staff rooms, a 1:1 laptop program, a well-resourced library, a 420-seat Performing Arts Centre, and a STEAM Complex.

• Experience teaching English across Years 7–12

• Proficiency in office systems relevant to the position, including Compass, Microsoft Suite, and the Work Based Learning Portal

Mandatory Requirements (VIC)

• Bachelor of Education (English) or equivalent qualification
• Full registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)
• Valid Working with Children Check
