An exciting opportunity is available to join Next Payments in the role of ‘Module Repairer’. With new product launches, strong business growth (increasing from 110 employees in 2021 to 189 employees currently), and recently winning major tenders, it is an exciting time to join Next Payments!
The Role
As the Module Repairer, you are responsible for recycling parts by repairing faulty modules and achieving a higher rate of repair as opposed to writing off faulty modules. This role involves fulfilling the following:
- Diagnose faults and repair faults in ATM modules, including cash recycler, cash redemption terminal, and cash express components.
- Circuit board repairs.
- Complete repairs, testing and configuration within the SLA.
- Update software before shelving repaired parts.
- Complete detailed service reports, including updates, closing notes, and parts used.
- Assist with the refurbishment and staging of ATMs
- Identify and escalate recurring faults caused by defects or user errors.
- Verify and log all parts received in the warehouse, ensuring accurate entry into Salesforce, including serial numbers where applicable.
- Assist with general warehouse duties, including stocktaking, dispatch and receivables, and organising racks.
- Maintain warehouse compliance in line with the company OHS guidelines
About You
- Experience in a similar role repairing a range of different electronic/mechanical modules
- Experience in a role that involved completing technical documentation of repairs
- Strong technical and/or electrical aptitude
- VCE/HSC or equivalent.
- Tertiary qualifications in IT, Business, accounting, or industry certification highly desirable
- Basic computer skills
