As we expand across NSW, we are looking for dedicated and compassionate Aged Care Support Workers to join our team and make a real difference in people's lives every day.

    ABOUT THE ROLE

    As a casual Aged Care Support Worker at Khalia Care, you will provide tailored support to aged care clients in their homes and communities. You will assist with daily living activities, personal care, and social engagement always working within individual care plans and upholding dignity, choice, and independence.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Personal Care

    • Showering / bathing assistance

    • Dressing / grooming support

    • Toileting and continence care

    • Feeding assistance

    • Mobility support and transfers

    Domestic Assistance

    • Cleaning & household hygiene support

    • Laundry

    • Meal preparation

    • Grocery shopping and errands

    Community Access

    • Transport support (driving or escorting)

    • Social participation and companionship

    • Appointment assistance

    • Shopping support

    Care & Compliance

    • Implement individual aged care support plans

    • Maintain accurate documentation and incident reports

    • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and the care team

    • Uphold client rights, privacy, and dignity

    • Adhere to WHS policies and safeguarding obligations

    ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
    • Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent (or working towards)

    • Valid National Police Check

    • Current First Aid & CPR Certificate

    • Valid Australian driver's licence & own vehicle

    • Australian work rights

    DESIRABLE
    • Previous experience in aged care support

    • Manual handling certificate

    • Medication administration training

    • Experience with dementia or complex care needs

    • Bilingual or multilingual skills
