Your new role

As the Technical Lead - AI, you will provide both strategic direction and hands-on leadership across enterprise AI, data, analytics, intelligent automation, and digital platform initiatives. Acting as the key link between business stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams, you will drive the design and delivery of scalable, secure, and business-aligned solutions.

You will lead the development of enterprise AI and data platforms, define future-state architecture, establish trusted data foundations, and guide the implementation of modern integration and automation capabilities. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will facilitate technical workshops, influence technology roadmaps, and ensure delivery outcomes align with organisational objectives.

In addition, you will mentor development teams, promote engineering best practices, and provide governance across solution design, cybersecurity, Responsible AI, and enterprise architecture standards.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

• Proven experience leading complex AI, data, digital transformation, or enterprise technology programs.
• Strong hands-on expertise in software engineering, solution architecture, and cloud-based platform delivery.
• Experience designing and implementing AI and data solutions leveraging technologies such as AWS, Snowflake, Cortex AI, Machine Learning, Intelligent Automation, Conversational AI, and Agent-based solutions.
• Deep understanding of enterprise data architecture, semantic modelling, canonical data structures, API and integration architecture, governance, and security frameworks.
• Ability to define technology strategy, future-state architecture, and scalable solution roadmaps.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and business decision-makers.
• Experience mentoring technical teams and driving high standards of delivery, operational readiness, and continuous improvement.
