About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join our client on an 8–10 month contract to cover a period of maternity leave. This role is ideal for a proactive accounting professional who thrives in a dynamic, project-based environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control activities
  • Work closely with operational teams on project-based financials
  • Maintain and manage systems across MYOB Acumatica and Xero
  • Assist with month-end and year-end processes
  • About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Minimum 4–5 years' accounting experience
  • Experience with MYOB Acumatica and Xero (essential)
  • Progress toward or completion of CPA, CA, or equivalent
  • Strong understanding of project-based / civil contracting environments (highly regarded)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
