Data Architect

We are looking for an experienced Data Architect with strong Energy & Utilities domain experience to lead end-to-end architecture across applications, data, integration, and cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Define scalable, secure, and maintainable solution architectures.
• Lead high-level and detailed technical design and technology selection.
• Drive data modernisation , solution decomposition, estimation, and delivery planning.
• Define APIs, integration patterns, data flows, and distributed architectures.
• Provide technical leadership to developers, engineers, and testers.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards and governance.
• Identify and manage technical risks, dependencies, and architectural decisions.
• Work closely with business and technical stakeholders in an Agile delivery environment .

Key Skills & Experience

• Strong Solution Architecture experience in Energy & Utilities .
• Strong stakeholder management and technical leadership skills.
• Experience with Data Platforms, Cloud, Integration, and Data Modernisation .
• Strong knowledge of data modelling, APIs, microservices, and distributed systems .
• Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory
• DBT, Informatica, Apache Spark
• REST APIs, Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture
• Oracle, SQL Server
• Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code
• Exposure to Python, Azure ML, AWS/GCP is desirable.
• Ability to balance strategic architecture with pragmatic delivery .
