BHA Media, a subsidiary of The Intermedia Group – one of Australia's largest B2B publishing and events companies is seeking a dynamic sales leader to drive revenue across INSTYLE magazine, the STYLEICONS digital platform, socials and elements of the Hair Festival event.
This is a rare permanent part-time opportunity (4 days per week) for an experienced media sales professional who thrives at the intersection of the hair and aesthetics culture and who's ready to be a genuine voice in the industry.
This is not a desk-bound sales position. Success in this role requires someone who genuinely wants to immerse themselves in the industry, build meaningful relationships, and become a visible and active part of the community we serve.
About the Role
You will be responsible for driving revenue growth across our media, digital and event platforms through strategic partnerships, sponsorships and advertising sales. The role combines business development, account management and digital sales expertise, with a strong focus on integrated campaigns across our print and digital assets. Strong knowledge and experience across social media platforms are highly important.
You will work closely with clients and industry stakeholders to develop creative commercial solutions that deliver results and long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive advertising, sponsorship and partnership revenue across multiple platforms
- Develop and manage strong relationships with clients, agencies and industry partners
- Identify and secure new business opportunities
- Create integrated sales proposals spanning digital, social, print and events
- Collaborate closely with the content team to align commercial strategy with editorial direction
- Maintain a strong understanding of digital marketing trends, audience engagement and social media opportunities
- Represent the business at industry events, networking functions, launches and trade shows
- Attend relevant out-of-hours industry events, functions and be active across social media platforms as part of building relationships and maintaining market presence
About You
- Proven experience in media, digital or event sales
- Strong digital sales capability, including social media and integrated campaign solutions
- Commercially driven with excellent relationship-building skills
- Confident networking and engaging with senior industry stakeholders
- Self-motivated, proactive and comfortable working independently
- Passionate about becoming part of the industry and community
- Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills
