Staff Java Developer

Role : Staff Java Engineer

Experience : 8+ years

Location : Sydney, Australia - Hybrid

Eligibility : Candidates must have the right to work in Australia (Citizen, PR, Valid Visa holders).

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices architecture.
• Build and manage event-driven systems using Kafka and Event Streaming technologies for real-time data processing.
• Design and deploy cloud-native solutions using AWS services such as Bedrock, Lambda, S3, IAM, and CloudFront.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and deployment processes using GitHub Actions, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Ensure system reliability, security, compliance, observability, and Responsible AI governance using monitoring tools like CloudWatch and Observe.
• Collaborate with Agile teams, stakeholders, and cross-functional squads to deliver innovative AI and cloud solutions aligned with business goals.

Key Skills

• Strong programming skills in Java Core and Spring Boot.
• Expertise in REST APIs, Kafka, Event Streaming, and Microservices architecture.
• Experience with AWS cloud services including Bedrock, Lambda, S3, IAM, and CloudFront.
• Knowledge of workflow orchestration tools such as Temporal, AWS Step Functions, or Flink Services.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes, Vault, and monitoring tools.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies, security, compliance, Responsible AI, and Agile delivery practices.
