Looking for a skilled Operations Leading Hand to commence ASAP in the Mackay region!

Your new role

This role sits above an Operations Technician and is ideal for someone ready to step into a supervisory position within a small team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supervising and guiding staff and contractors on site

• Working on transportable/modular buildings

• Managing maintenance activities including internal and external modifications and repairs (cladding, windows, flooring, roofing, cleaning)

• Conducting servicing and repairs of modular buildings

• Operating a forklift to manoeuvre buildings on-site

• Using hand and power tools for general maintenance and construction tasks

• Upholding WHS procedures and maintaining compliance standards

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous Leading Hand or supervisory experience (construction/manufacturing highly desirable)

• Maintenance experience and confidence using hand and power tools

• Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain)

• Driver's licence and reliable transport

• Basic computer skills

• Trade qualification preferred but not essential

• Construction or handyman-style background highly regarded

• Ability to work effectively within a small team

• Living locally in the Mackay region
