Cloud Architect

We’re seeking an experienced Azure-focused consultant to support a critical transition program, helping move a suite of enterprise applications from legacy Azure environments into a modern, standardised Azure foundation.

This role is heavily focused on discovery, assessment, and transition planning — ideal for someone who enjoys working across architecture, analysis, and stakeholder engagement to set programs up for successful delivery.

Responsibilities

• Conduct discovery and analysis across existing Azure environments and applications
• Assess integrations, hosting, identity, security, data flows, and dependencies
• Evaluate migration readiness, including risks and uplift requirements
• Define and document target-state architecture aligned to Azure foundations
• Develop transition roadmaps, uplift plans, and implementation artefacts
• Enhance and formalise migration frameworks and best practices
• Provide technical advice, briefings, and knowledge transfer to internal teams

Ideally you will have the following

• Strong experience across Azure architecture and cloud transformation
• Proven background in application migration / modernisation planning
• Experience working across complex enterprise environments
• Identity, security, and integration patterns
• Application dependencies and data flows
• Ability to produce high-quality documentation and artefacts
• Confident stakeholder engagement and communication skills

This role will be offered as a contract until 30 June 2026 and is due for an immediate start.
