Flexible - preferred Mon to Fri 8:30 am to 6 pm

About Avivo:

We partner with individuals and families to give them the support they need - whether it’s dealing with disabilities, aging, or mental health. Our mission? Helping people live their best lives and stay connected with their communities. We offer permanent part-time contracts starting with a minimum of 10 guaranteed hours per fortnight which will increase as we build your roster.

What You’ll Do:

  • Domestic Assistance such as housekeeping, meal planning and preparation, and personal administration (e.g. shopping, banking, paying bills)
  • Support customers with personal care, such as bathing, toileting, grooming and hoisting (this includes customers with high care needs)
  • Support customers stay connected to their communities. (appointments and activities, family and friends)
  • Think outside the box by finding creative solutions to challenges.

We offer on-the-job training and buddy shifts to help you pick up all the skills you need!

What You Need:

  • A valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle (important for the role)
  • A NDIS Worker Screening check (or be ready to get one)
  • A positive attitude and creative thinking
  • Flexibility to work different shifts
  • Experience helping individuals and families (would be great)
  • Qualifications in Aged Care, Disability, Mental Health, or Community Services (also would be great)
