About the role
As a result of our continued client growth, we have an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Financial Adviser to work with a high-quality portfolio of existing clients. The portfolio typically includes high-income families, pre-retirees and business owners, with further growth opportunities through existing clients, internal referrals and strategic partnerships.
You’ll work closely with your Associate Adviser, Paraplanners and a skilled Client Services team to ensure seamless advice delivery.
Working from our Collins Street office, located at the Paris end of Melbourne's CBD, you’ll join a highly respected wealth management firm, known for delivering high-quality advice and exceptional client outcomes where you can focus on delivering strategic financial advice across investments, superannuation, retirement planning, wealth creation and risk management.
Key responsibilities
Reporting to the Head of Advice, the responsibilities of the Financial Adviser role include:
- Delivering strategic, client focused financial advice tailored to individual goals, needs, and circumstances;
- Building trusted relationships with existing clients, deepening engagement over time and identifying opportunities to deliver sustainable long-term outcomes;
- Partnering with your Associate Adviser, Paraplanning and Client Services to support research, advice preparation, and implementation, ensuring clients receive a seamless and efficient advice experience;
- Maintaining high standards of advice quality, compliance and professional conduct in line with industry regulations and best practice standards; and
- Contributing to the growth and success of a professional, high performing advice team by sharing your expertise and skills in partnering with other advisers and strategic partners.

What we're looking for
- Proven experience delivering high-quality personal advice and managing established client relationships;
- Strong technical skills with an excellent understanding of Investments, Retirement Planning and Superannuation (including Self-Managed Super Funds)
- Confidence working with a diverse client base, including high-income families, retirees, sophisticated investors and business owners;
- Sound judgement, commercial awareness and a strong commitment to advice quality and compliance;
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work effectively with referral partners and internal teams;
- Excellent time management, prioritisation and communication skills;
- Experience working with Xplan, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Relevant industry qualifications including degree in Business, Economics, Finance or Commerce, or a Graduate Diploma of Financial Planning
- Minimum of 3 years' experience working in a similar role
