Social Media Content Creator for a Skincare Company in Australia (Home Based Part Time)

Client Information

The Company is a skincare business is seeking to strengthen its in-house marketing team by enhancing its organic social media presence. Founded in 2009, the company manages all core marketing activities internally through a dedicated team, while partnering with local providers for PR and photography. This role will focus primarily on growing engagement for its teen and tween skincare brand, while also supporting content creation and social media initiatives across its broader portfolio of brands.

Job Description

• Create engaging social media graphics using existing brand assets.

• Repurpose existing photography and video content into new creative assets.

• Edit short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.

• Schedule and publish content using Later or a similar scheduling platform.

• Assist in building and maintaining an active TikTok presence.

• Create content across multiple skincare brands.

• Follow detailed creative briefs and brand guidelines.

• Engage with relevant creators and brands on TikTok to support organic growth.

• Maintain a consistent content calendar.

• Explore AI tools to assist with content creation where appropriate.

• Work closely with the internal marketing team and incorporate feedback.

Must Haves

• Previous experience creating social media content for businesses.
• Strong Canva and graphic design skills.
• Experience editing short-form video content.
• Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram and current social media trends.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while following creative direction.
• Strong written English.

Nice to Haves

• Experience working with skincare, beauty or lifestyle brands.
• Experience using Later or similar scheduling platforms.

Home Office Requirements
