SAP BASIS Consultant

About The Role

We are looking for an experienced

SAP Basis Consultant to join our team in Melbourne. In this role, you will be responsible for managing SAP system landscapes, overseeing upgrades, supporting core applications like S/4HANA and EWM, and ensuring optimal database and cloud performance.

What You'll Do

• Manage end-to-end SAP BASIS landscapes, handling system installations, upgrades, and database management.
• Oversee critical OS, DB, and Kernel upgrades.
• Support core business applications including SAP S/4HANA and SAP EWM.
• Collaborate with teams to configure and maintain SAP environments on cloud platforms.
• Engage with related administrative domains such as SAP Solution Manager and basic security monitoring.

What We're Looking For

Must-Haves

• Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in SAP BASIS, with at least 4+ years specifically focused on BASIS on HANA.
• Core Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP EWM applications, and HANA DB.
• Technical Operations: Proven track record in executing system upgrades and managing OS, DB, and Kernel upgrades.

Technical Depth

• In-depth command over HANA database administration and cloud infrastructure deployment.
• Strong capabilities in infrastructure troubleshooting and performance tuning.

Nice-to-Haves

• Exposure to SAP on cloud platforms.
• Experience with SAP Solution Manager and SAP Cloud ALM.
• Familiarity with SAP Security concepts and baseline access management.
