Your New Company This Sydneybased joinery business is a recognised player in the commercial and shopfitting space, delivering detailed, highquality joinery for premium projects across Sydney and NSW. Their work spans retail, workplace, hospitality and bespoke interiors, with a strong emphasis on finish and build quality.Due to increased workflow, they are now looking for an experienced Leading Hand Joiner to take on a practical leadership role within their workshop, supporting production while upholding quality and efficiency standards.
Your New Role This is a workshopbased Leading Hand position, combining leadership with handson joinery. Youll be responsible for supervising joiners and apprentices while actively manufacturing highend commercial joinery. Youll play a key role in maintaining workflow, quality and delivery timeframes.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading and coordinating workshop staff
• Handson manufacture of highend commercial joinery
• Reading and interpreting detailed shop drawings
• Allocating tasks and managing daily workflow
• Quality control and final finishes
• Training and mentoring apprentices

What Youll Need to Succeed

• Tradequalified Joiner or Cabinet Maker
• Experience as a Leading Hand or senior workshop joiner
• Strong background in commercial or shopfitting joinery
• Ability to interpret complex drawings and specifications
• Confident leadership style with a practical, handson approach
