Join Our Team as a Medical Receptionist – Full Time 12-month Fixed Term | Darwin & Palmerston Locations 

Are you a people-focused professional with a passion for healthcare? We’re looking for a Medical Receptionist to join our friendly and supportive team across Darwin Private Hospital and the Palmerston Health Precinct.

Full-Time 12-month fixed term | Monday to Friday | Shifts between 7:00am – 5:00pm

Based across Darwin Private Hospital & Palmerston Health Precinct

Rotating role between front reception and phone-based shifts (6 weeks reception + 2 week phone)

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and visitors with warmth and professionalism
• Manage appointment scheduling, patient records, and general admin tasks
• Handle incoming calls and assist with patient inquiries and bookings
• Coordinate referrals and liaise with medical professionals
• Deliver outstanding customer service to patients and their families
• Work collaboratively with the broader team to ensure smooth daily operations
