Project Engineer - $700m luxury apartment development

The Company

Our client is a international property developer with a growing construction arm, renowned for delivering large scale luxury commercial and residential developments. The delivery team will be offering the scale and resources of a tier 1 with the flexibility of working for the client and under EBA agreements.

An opportunity to join a team from the start with strong senior leadership in place and very positive financial backing offering a long term landmark project. This client has decades of expertise in the local market and a large number of well known developments across Australia now growing the delivery team it is a perfect time to join on one of Queensland's most exciting businesses.

The Role

• Contribute to site meetings and work collaboratively with upper management to ensure key milestones are hit
• Joining a team delivering a $700m high end multilevel residential development
• Managing on-site activities and coordinating with subcontractors, stakeholders and colleagues in a professional manner
• Review project documents including estimates, design drawing, proposals and contracts per management in delivering structural and fit out components of a large development
• Stakeholder and resource management - Ensuring relevant labour is on site to deliver key project objectives, and ensuring quality is maintained throughout
• Key focus on finishes with extremely high quality on a large scale you'll have the ability to manage sections, delegate to site engineers and work collaboratively with upper management.

Experience/Qualifications Required

• A stable track record of delivering similar sized projects for Tier 1/2 builders in a project engineer role (minimum of 5 years)
• A trade or tertiary qualification in construction
• Strong software skills in programs such as Procore, Jobpac and MS suites.
• Compliance with legislative and policy requirements
• Local experience with both unions and subcontractors in the tier 1 space
