Shinagawa Refractories Australasia is seeking two experienced industrial maintenance tradespeople for its Unanderra manufacturing operation:

• Industrial Electrician
• Mechanical Fitter / Maintenance Technician

Both are permanent, full-time positions working Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm , with competitive salaries and the stability of an established manufacturing business.

About Shinagawa
SRA manufactures highly technical refractory products used in steelmaking and other demanding high-temperature industries.
Its Unanderra plant includes crushers, screens, mixers, blenders, conveyors, packaging equipment and associated processing plant, creating varied, hands-on industrial maintenance work.
The Roles
Both positions support safe, reliable plant operation through planned, preventative and breakdown maintenance, equipment improvement and project work.
Industrial Electrician
You will work across:

• Industrial electrical fault finding and maintenance
• Motors, drives and control circuits
• PLC, instrumentation and automation systems
• Electrical testing and safe isolation
• Plant upgrades, installation and commissioning
• Reliability and equipment improvement

You will need a recognised electrical trade qualification, appropriate NSW electrical licence and industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing, processing, mining or a similar plant environment .
Mechanical Fitter / Maintenance Technician
You will work across:

• Planned and breakdown mechanical maintenance
• Fault finding and equipment repair
• Crushers, mixers, conveyors and processing equipment
• Fabrication and equipment modification
• Plant installations and commissioning
• Reliability improvements and plant upgrades

You will need a relevant Mechanical Fitter / Fitter & Turner trade qualification and hands-on maintenance experience in manufacturing, processing, mining or a similar industrial plant environment .
