Our client is a well-established, family-owned  civil and structural engineering consultancy based in Wollongong , and they're looking for an experienced  Senior Civil / Structural Engineer to join their friendly and supportive team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants more than just another engineering job. You'll work closely with clients, councils and the wider team across a genuinely varied project portfolio, from smaller residential extensions and additions through to  multi-million-dollar, high-end beachfront homes .

What you'll be working on
No two projects are the same, and that's exactly what makes this role interesting. You could be working across:

• High-end residential and beachfront developments
• Extensions, additions and renovations
• Civil and structural design projects
• Council-related projects and approvals
• Stormwater and drainage design
• Site investigations and assessments
• Projects ranging from smaller residential works through to multi-million-dollar builds

What You'll Bring
We're looking for someone who can hit the ground running and enjoys having a good level of ownership over their work. Ideally, you'll have:

• Strong experience in  civil and/or structural engineering
• Senior-level experience within a consulting environment
• Strong residential engineering experience
• Experience dealing with  councils, clients and other stakeholders
• Solid design and problem-solving skills
• For civil design 12D experience would be highly regarded
• Excellent communication skills and a practical approach to engineering
