About your next role

As a Programs And Participation Coordinator, you will engage with program participants to deliver meaningful activities that meet community needs while focusing on improving quality of life and capacity building.

  • Lead the RAES activities on-site and in the community, ensuring sites are safe, clean, and well-prepared.
  • Coordinate activity logistics, including equipment maintenance, food preparation, safety briefings, and stock control.
  • Consult with staff, participants, and community members to identify and expand the range of locally led activities and training.
  • Work closely with Yolgnu Supervisors to grow their skills, confidence, and leadership opportunities.
  • Tailor services to individual participant circumstances while respecting established cultural obligations and family structures.
  • Support social enterprise projects that drive social innovation and sustainable economic development.
  • Complete detailed site reporting and documentation accurately and on time.
  • Maintain sites and assets to ensure all activities are conducted safely.

  • Highly effective interpersonal skills and the adaptability to engage with people from diverse cultures and language backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated experience in physical environments such as trades, the outdoors, or commercial kitchens.
  • Proven experience in managing staff and building team capacity through mentorship.
  • Experience working with clients to deliver culturally and socially appropriate activities.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality outcomes with minimal supervision and meet Key Performance Indicators.
  • Intermediate skills in the Microsoft Office suite.
