Product & Design Manager

The Product & Design Manager is responsible for leading the development, design, and technical execution of Decrolux’s product range, with a focus on steel poles and lighting solutions. This role ensures all products meet engineering standards, quality expectations, and commercial requirements, while supporting project delivery through design coordination and technical documentation. The position plays a critical role in innovation, supplier engagement, and maintaining product integrity across all documentation and
specifications.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
Product Development & Engineering
• Develop and manage new product concepts aligned with business strategy
• Produce GA drawings and perform engineering calculations for steel poles, using Tekla CAD Software.
• Research and evaluate suppliers for light fittings and components
• Define and maintain component specifications
• Support innovation and continuous improvement of the product range.
Design & Technical Documentation
• Prepare shop drawings and technical documentation (Tekla)
• Ensure accuracy and alignment of datasheets across all products
• Maintain and manage product files and technical records
• Liaise with engineers to produce foundation drawings
Project Support & Coordination
• Coordinate lighting designs in collaboration with internal and external
stakeholders
• Provide technical support to projects from concept through to delivery
• Ensure designs meet compliance, quality, and client requirements
Product Management & Quality Control
• Oversee product lifecycle management
• Implement and monitor quality control standards
• Ensure consistency across product specifications and documentation
Team Coordination & Communication
• Delegate tasks across product/design functions
• Facilitate clear internal communication within the product team
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment with operations and sales
