Talentpath are excited to be partnering with a well‑established manufacturing business, who have an exciting opportunity for an experienced PayrollManager to join their finance team on a full-time permanent basis. The role offers the opportunity to work closely with Finance and HR within a collaborative head office environment, while having ownership of payroll operations and continuous improvement initiatives.

What you’ll do:

  • End‑to‑end processing of fortnightly and monthly payrolls across multiple entities
  • Ensuring ongoing compliance with Awards, Enterprise Agreements, and statutory payroll obligations
  • Managing the full employee lifecycle from onboarding through to termination and long service leave calculations
  • Administration and reconciliation of statutory payments including superannuation and payroll tax
  • Month‑end payroll reporting, reconciliations, and headcount reporting
  • Preparation of regular and ad‑hoc payroll reports for Finance and senior stakeholders
  • Review, development, and implementation of best‑practice payroll processes and controls
  • Managing and resolving payroll queries with a strong focus on accuracy and service

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • 3–5+ years’ experience in a Payroll Manager role in a medium to large organisation
  • Proven experience managing complex payrolls across multiple entities and/or sites
  • Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation and compliance requirements
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (including lookup and reconciliation functions)
  • Experience supporting month‑end reporting and payroll reconciliations
  • High attention to detail, confidentiality, and a strong customer‑service mindset
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
