Business Systems Analyst

We have an opportunity for a Business Systems Analyst to join our Digital Enablement team toenhance the suite of software applications used across Bethanie, and drive innovation, automation, and continuous improvement in our digital capabilities.

  • Reporting to our Digital Enablement Manager
  • Permanent position, based at our West Perth office- available full-time or part-time (0.8FTE)
  • Flexible working arrangements, including working from home
  • We attend the office a minimum of three days per week

About the role

Working closely with our Digital Enablement and ICT teams, duties in this hands-on role include:

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and innovation in system design
  • Feature development, upgrades and fixes (in conjunction with System Owners and/or Vendors as relevant)
  • Identify, evaluate and deliver (or support Citizen Developers to deliver) on opportunities to leverage AI and automation
  • Ensure business requirements for new tech solutions are clear, and solutions developed in line with endorsed directions
  • Provide technical leadership in data integration and platform interoperability; supporting the design and development of integrations
  • Deliver prioritised sprint activities that support the Bethanie Strategy, Digital Enablement Plan and Strategic Project activities

About You

You are a detail-oriented problem solver with strong communication skills and a passion for digital transformation. You thrive in collaborative environments and are confident in leading technical discussions and driving system improvements.You will also bring:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - in particular, theability to connect the understanding of technical and non-technical colleagues
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Proven experience structuring business requirements and systems architecture
  • Sound knowledge of the software development lifecycle and process improvement methodologies
  • Experience building automations and AI solutions, particularly within the Microsoft toolset
  • Attention to detail and critical thinking ability,finding innovative solutions
  • Experience with Azure integration solutions and Microsoft Power Platform
  • Programming skills, including in SQL
