Quantity Surveyor | Global Independent Consultancy

The Company

I am partnering with a premier, global independent consultancy that has shaped the skylines of Australia and New Zealand for decades. From cultural icons to massive infrastructure precincts, they are the hands behind the region's most landmark developments.

Unlike typical corporate firms, they are employee-owned, prioritising technical excellence and long-term partnerships over red tape. This is your chance to join their high-performing Adelaide team and contribute to a legacy of iconic builds.

About The Role

Stepping into a client-facing position, you will have exposure to a prestigious portfolio spanning health, commercial, workspace, education, sports & rec, industrial, and major residential. Supported by an established national network, your responsibilities will include the creation and delivery of:

  • Initial budgets and benchmarking

  • Elemental and trade-based cost plans

  • Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and pre-tender estimates

  • Tender analysis and methodology advice

  • Bank reports and draw-down recommendations

  • Value engineering (challenging client views when appropriate to ensure excellence)

  • Variation valuations and progress claim recommendations

What’s in it for you?

  • Ownership Culture: Thrive in an employee-owned environment with zero corporate red tape.

  • Iconic Projects: Work on the projects people talk about—from massive infrastructure to city-defining landmarks.

  • Flexibility: A generous pay package with genuine WFH flexibility.

  • Growth: A clear, merit-based path to internal career progression.

  • Environment: A supportive, expert team based in a brand-new CBD office.

About The Candidate

We are looking for a technically sharp, client-ready professional. To be successful, you must have:

  • Experience: At least 2 years of local experience within a similar consultancy firm.

  • Education: An accredited degree in Quantity Surveying.

  • Tech Stack: Proficiency in CostX (or similar) and Excel is essential.

  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills; you must be comfortable advising high-level stakeholders.
